Curriculum Example Using Gagne's Model

Last time I outlined how I design curriculum using a model known as the Events of Instruction by Gagne. Here is an example of a curriculum outline for a 2.5 hour training on effective listening skills designed for incarcerated learners that utilizes that model.
I find this to be an effective model no matter what I'm designing. I have used it as a template for design and presentation skills training for trainers, for relational curricula on parenting or healthy intimate partner relationships, for new employee training curricula, for intervention curricula that are evidence-based and a part of research studies, for profession-specific continuing education training, and even to structure my conference presentations. I have used it when designing for Master's and PhD level audiences, incarcerated learners, adolescent students, graduate students, as well as a variety of education, public service and social service professionals. It provides a template and basic structure that is also endlessly flexible in allowing me to plug in activities specific to my outcome and audience.
