What To Do Before Training

Last time I introduced the research that identifies the top three impacts on training transfer noting that the greatest impact on training transfer comes from what the training director, manager, administrator or supervisor does BEFORE their trainer goes to professional development training.

What Impacts Transfer of Training

This week I was preparing to train a small team of agency leaders to train teachers in a new teen-parenting curriculum I had written for a client last winter. The curriculum was developed with input from stakeholders (teen parents, brain development experts, adolescent service providers, parents of teen parents, along with the school personnel who ran the alternative teen programs for the district).
