Let me equip you with brain-based and trauma-informed teaching practices to improve client outcomes and attract more funding with the results.
How I can help you meet your goals
I equip teachers of trauma-impacted adult learners to use brain science to touch hearts, change minds and transform behavior to support clients in meeting their goals. Through online courses, instructional design, instructional coaching, and training I make the science of attitude and behavior change easy to understand, fun to learn, motivating to use, and inspiring to witness. When agencies or individual teachers use my curriculum design and teaching strategies, their trauma-impacted adult learners meet prosocial life outcomes; making their organizations more attractive to funders who want to see measurable change.
Why you can trust me - I have proven results

PIO demonstrated a 27% (male) to 48% (female) reduction in rearrest at one year post release, a 66% reduction in self-reported substance abuse, and improved parent-child relationships in a randomized controlled trial of Oregon inmate parents. PIO is listed on SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) with a 4.0/4.0 for curriculum design. PIO is now in 30 states in the US and two prisons in Australia; with statewide Department of Corrections implementation in Kansas, Washington, Oregon and South Carolina.
